Through this funding, the Regional Business Partner Network offers businesses up to 50% co-funded support for management coaching and training services to build management capability within the business.

  • Be willing to co-fund and commit time to developing your management capability.

COVID-19 Business Advisory Funding

As part of its COVID-19 business support initiative, the New Zealand Government has announced a further injection of $40m into providing professional services for small to medium sized businesses. One of the specific channels the Government has selected for distributing and allocating these funds is through the Regional Business Partner Program (RBP).

The COVID-19 assistance available through the RBP program is the provision of up to $5,000 to offset professional service costs
in relation to:

  • Business continuity planning
  • Cash flow management and forecasting
  • HR
  • Health and wellbeing

Business Eligibility

To be eligible, you must:

  • Have undergone a brief assessment with an approved RBP Growth Advisor
  • Employ up to 100 staff
  • Be registered for GST in New Zealand
  • Be operating a commercial enterprise

It is important to note that approval is not automatic, but the clear intention from the Government is to get support to businesses.
